Some people forget their glasses, lose their wallet or even a jacket on public transport. But gold bars, worth almost 200,000 euros, are hard to miss. However it happened to a ‘forgotten’, who is now wanted by the Swiss police.
A package filled with gold bars, the value of which will reach 200 thousand euros, was discovered in an SBB coach that connected the locality of St. Gallen to Lucerne in October last year, but so far no one has yet appeared to claim the packing.
The authorities after “extensive investigation” have not yet found the owner of the gold bars, which is currently handed over to the local prosecutor’s office.
With no one accused of being the owner of such wealth, the police have now decided to publicize the case in the hope that the mystery will be solved. In the bulletin published by the authorities it is explained that the owner of this treasure has 5 years to claim it.
