The Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF) detained a foreign citizen at Lisbon airport for evidence of trafficking in persons, illegal immigration assistance and the use of identification documents or the travel of others.
The 35-year-old man was intercepted by the SEF in the context of border control carried out on the arrival of a flight from Dakar.
He traveled with a child, who initially claimed to be his daughter, and who presented an alien document, with France as its final destination.
The child, a minor, in compliance with the provisions of the Law on Protection of Children and Young People in Danger, was hosted in an institution.
To the detainee, present in Court, the measure of coercion of preventive custody was decreed.
