John Terry will lift the Championship play-off final trophy in full Chelsea kit if Aston Villa are able to beat Fulham at Wembley.
Terry spent 19 seasons as a Chelsea player and is keen that nobody forgets how much of a legend he is in those parts.
The announcement comes straight off the back of news that Terry has signed a contract meaning he won’t have to play against Chelsea if Villa get promoted to the Premier League.
Unofficial source Lee Satchell explained: “JT was actually annoyed that he wasn’t able to lift the FA Cup with Chelsea when they beat Man United the other day.
“He said it didn’t feel right seeing Chelsea lift a trophy without him. It just wasn’t proper.
“So he’s going to make up for it by lifting the play-off trophy in full Chelsea kit.
“We’re talking shirt, shorts, socks and boxers. The full deal.
“He’s also booked a blue plane to fly over Wembley 26 times in the first 26 minutes spouting blue smoke. Don’t forget, JT loves the Chelsea.
“Don’t tell anyone, but he’s even planning to gatecrash Fulham’s trophy presentation if Villa end up losing.
“Nothing is going to stop him from reminding all the fans out there that he is the captain, leader, legend of Terry Football… I mean, Chelsea Football Club.”
